I had a similar experience with my first c-section. The tugging feeling made me lose my mind a little, and they had to increase my happy drugs because I started freaking out. The second time was TOTALLY different. It didn't come after a long-ish, painful labor, and I knew what to expect. So I thought I would freak out again, but I didn't. In fact, I was pretty chill through the whole thing.

You'll do fine, I know it!

I had very similar c-section experiences (first one was an unexpected emergency and the second one was planned.) The worse part, for me, about the second one was getting the epidural stone cold sober. BUT the surgery part was not bad at all AND the recovery was much, much better. I was up walking around in my room the next day and feeling really great.

You'll do great, too!
