The sisters hit it off from the very start. Once they warmed to each other (which took only the brief few minutes of the car ride from the airport to the house), Delaney leapt from my arms into her sister's and hardly left them all weekend. They must have an original connection in the DNA they share. Why else would Delaney jump immediately and gleefully into her sister's outstretched arms from mine when she does that with no one else? They're kindred spirits who won't let a 15-year age difference or 1500 miles separate them.
That's so awesome! We are making the trip to see the rest of our extended family this summer. I doubt Big Girl will remember them from last summer; Baby Girl will be meeting everyone for the first time. I am hoping for something closer to what you got to see this weekend rather than what I imagine (screaming and hiding).
