True to form and holiday tradition, I've caught a cold. At least this time it had the decency to show up after the big meal instead of during. I've been lounging around the house like a sloth for the last two days barely paying attention to general hygenine except for tonight when Roger and I went out on a date (Dinner and a movie. I know. We're still not very creative.) I may have been sniffling and slightly feverish but as any parent knows, you don't turn down free babysitting. If I'd had a gangrenous limb dangling from my body I'd still be writing to tell you how much we enjoyed the film.
Poor you! But I am jealous that you saw that movie! We used our babysitting to paint a room...I think we win the lack of creativity award!

A date is a date! We pretty much do the standard dinner and a movie, too.
Hope you feel better soon!

Sorry you are sick. My allergies are kicking in something awful - coughing, sneezing, lots and lots of icky stuff in my nose but I don't feel sick - if it's true that misery loves company.
I should have known you went to see the new David Guest flick. I'm so glad you liked it and hope you feel better soon!
