I'm thankful for my loving, supportive, beyond-amazing husband who not only cooked a Thanksgiving dinner--that the Food Network chefs would envy--for our entire Texas family, but also schlepped it across town to my parents' house.
I'm thankful for our divine and adorable daughter who turns 20 months tomorrow. She delighted everyone today by saying, "Happy Tanksgivink," about 5,000 times and by rolling her eyes deep into her head whenever we asked her to show us her, "funny face."
I'm thankful that Delaney got such a kick out of spending the holiday with her cousins, my sister's kids, and that my sister and I were there together, witnessing their sweet and silly antics.
I'm thankful for Thanksgiving morning yoga. Delaney and I left the house for the gym this morning to give Roger time to cook. I skipped cardio and went straight into a yoga class, one of the most intense of my gym practices so far. It was a fantastic way to get the holiday off to a great, destressed start.
I'm thankful that more than a year after I joined the gym I'm still going there. I've never made a successful committment to physical fitness in my life before this and, although I haven't accomplished my goal of losing a ton of weight, I'm proud as hell that I'm stronger and more confident in my physical abilities and that I'm on the right track to being a great example for Delaney, which was my main goal for going in the first place.
I'm thankful for starting this blog 17 months ago. It's provided me with a creative outlet, a way to preserve precious memories, the ability to make new friends from all over the world and it's even opened up exciting opportunities (more on this to come).
I'm thankful for the families that we have, both here and in Indiana. Roger's kids--Delaney's siblings--although far away in location never stray far from our thoughts. We wish every single day that we were able to be all together in the same place.
Great post! I especially like the gym part: go you! You're pretty motivated to hit the gym on Thanksgiving! Glad you and your family had a wonderful day.

A year after the gym and you're still going?!
That's seriously impressive.

I used to practice yoga regularly and was thinking earlier today that I really, really need to get back to it, if only for the head space I think it gives me. Hope you had a lovely dinner!

I took the initiative to contact this blog because I believe that not enough attention is given to parenting joy & benefits that the power of a Tooth Fairy can bring.
Losing a baby tooth offers parents a once in a lifetime opportunity to create and capture their child's excitement of losing a baby teeth and making them feel special during this development period. To facilitate the magic & mystique of this Tooth Fairy occasion we offer several Tooth Fairy oriented products which are parent and child oriented. These products have won over the hearts of parents and their children for the past 12 years.
For example, there is our flagship product - THE TOOTHFAIRY*S BABY TOOTH BANK. Parents find this bank to be ideal for creating & saving fabulously sentimental & precious "toothless moment" memories. Moreover, we have found that children love to save their own baby teeth (if given the chance) and love to show them off at Show N Tell in school and to all their friends and relatives. Children like the idea of being entrusted with this special bank so that their baby teeth wont get lost, stolen or misplaced in toothfairy land.
Parents also like the additional benefits of a Tooth Fairy Bank because it helps them teach the concept of "savings" to their children at an early age. This bank not only helps organize a parent when their child loses a baby tooth, it also can help teach a child the benefit of organization and keeping a diary because the bank provides a chart (on the banks bottom) which corresponds to a numbered cubby to keep a record of each memorable date a baby tooth fell out.
THE TOOTHFAIRY*S BABY TOOTH BANK has one other very imporantl parenting oriented benefit related to helping encourage and motivate their children to brush. Please read the attached press release on the subject.
Since February is Children's Dental Hygiene Month it may be ideal to bring this Tooth Fairy Bank dental oriented benefits to your readers attention.
If you need anything else or have questions please dont hesitate to contact me. I welcome your feedback.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Steven Dagowitz
